Concept, Design & Process
When we’re building someone’s dream, aesthetics must be valued. The client approached us to build an outdoor living space to complement their pool. We designed a pavilion for this client’s backyard that would be an accessible bathroom, and changing room. It would also contain an outdoor kitchen and a focal wall with a TV and outdoor fireplace. The pavilion was open to the elements and rustic in design. It featured 8 x 8 heavy timbers, which were appropriately proportioned for the design and complemented by the use of gray stone.
We thoroughly enjoyed the fun factor of this project: that our firm helped create a space used for relaxing and entertaining. It was aesthetically pleasing because the client wanted to invest in the look and feel of the outdoor space, and every part of it had the appropriate level of detail.
It was functionally perfect to relax in the shade in the summer months, or stay warm, serve food and entertain while watching a football game in the fall.
