Concept, Design & Process
We designed this home to be compatible with an existing historic Victorian next door. On the inside, we incorporated all the modern amenities that today’s homeowners would want. The floor plan is similar to its neighboring Victorian home in that it also includes a formal living room, a formal dining room, and formal entry. We included sought-after modern features like his and hers baths.
As a firm, when we renovated its sister home, we were compassionate with the older existing structure. This new construction project gave us more leeway since everything was new from the ground up. We are an architecture firm who regularly collaborates with interior designers. Our experience working in residential design means we always have a vision of what the final space will look like, even before the “canvas” is handed over to a professional interior designer.
