Concept, Design & Process
The Lil’ Pop Shop is a gourmet popsicle company. The owners asked Marshall Sabatini to assist them in opening up their 3rd location. After the clients settled on a historic storefront, the first step included helping our clients get zoning approval and historic approval in order to make the store front compliant. In the end, this meant including a ramp and door design that met code.
The next focus was repurposing a small space–once a framing shop–to sell gourmet popsicles. The clients made their own selections regarding interior design, while Marshall Sabatini architects designed a functional space around their equipment and furniture needs. We worked on fine-tuning all spatial requirements, so that patrons had ample room to move around from the moment they walked in the door.
